Door-to-Door Refuse PDF Print E-mail

image The Local Council is responsible for the domestic collection of refuse from all households in the locality. This door-to-door collection is done on a basis of five days a week, including public holidays.

Waste (which should be placed in black plastic bags) is collected every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The Msida Local Council is also part of the ‘Recycling Tuesdays’ scheme, where recyclable material is collected door-to-door every Tuesday morning. The Msida Local Council is offering residents the possibility of taking glass bottles out, in front of their homes on the first Friday of every month.

It is important that all bags are taken out prior to 8am. Recycling can also take place at the various Bring In Sites around Msida.
